What Are Centers of Pestilence Pt. 3

Si Vales, Valeo

Hopefully, the concept has been clearly explained in the last two installments. To sum up, you can be a “Center of Pestilence” as I understand it, by:

  1. Studying the The Book of the Law.
  2. Trying to understand The Book without first reading The Prophet’s commentaries.
  3. Daring to form and share opinions that do not mirror Crowley’s comments.
  4. Expecting Thelema to have a different meaning for different generations.

So, now you know and you can make an educated decision about whether or not you are going to keep repeating the same tired quotes everyone seems to be so fond of; adhere to the popular but inconceivable notion that Crowley would understand the implication of living as a Thelemite in our time, or invest in your chosen philosophy by attempting to make Thelema relevant in your own time.

For better or for worse, the choice is yours.
