As part of our ongoing efforts to clothe those in need, today we turned in 4,000 pounds of clothing for adults and children to The William Temple House.

Today we have concluded our clothing drive. The Order of Thelemic Knights donated over 500 pounds of adult clothing and 100 pounds of children's clothing to The William Temple House.

The Order of Thelemic Knights donated over 700 pounds of adult clothing and 400 pounds of children's clothing, toys, and books to The William Temple House.

The Order of Thelemic Knights organizes and coordinates members to provide security for Red Cross Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

The Order of Thelemic Knights has donated over 300 pounds of children's clothing, toys, and books to the only organization in Jackson County Oregon to own various "safe houses" to shelter victims of domestic violence and their children.

Concluded Lakota Indian Tribe charity. Trucked in 34 boxes of clothing totaling another 800 pounds. We would like to recognize the efforts of the individuals at Sekhet-Maat Lodge of Ordo Templi Orientis for their incredible efforts to help us meet these charitable goals.

This summer we began our yearlong campaign to raise badly needed items for the Lakota Indian Tribe. Through the generous donations of people just like you, we collected approximately 1200 women's tops, over 250 men's T-shirts, 350 hats and caps, 120 pairs of pants, 16 pairs of adult and children's shoes. Also numerous toys, puzzles, school supplies, blankets, jackets and socks. Imagine our surprise when we were contacted by the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica Hermetica with an offer to join us in this endeavor? They sent boxes and boxes of clothing, blankets and children's school supplies. All in all, 761 pounds of clothing.

Aggressive Hepatitis C educational campaign begins, and the second flyer is created. Distribution to shelters and popular street kid hangouts.

Order of Thelemic Knights concludes its "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" shoe drive, collecting tennis shoes, boots, dress shoes, infant shoes, and even some Doc Martins! Some donated leather jackets, belts and other clothing in order to help those less fortunate. The response was unexpectedly amazing.

Aggressive AIDS information campaign begins. Flyers (Some Facts that could help prevent you from becoming infected with the AIDS Virus) are distributed to shelters, drug rehab centers, plasma donor facilities and popular street kid hangouts. Flyers are distributed in various locations in Canada, Kentucky, and Oregon.

Order of Thelemic Knights creates the "Upward Spiral" eList: A safe and anonymous place for Thelemites experiencing difficulties with drug addiction to find one-on-one email support and advice from other Thelemites that have been there and themselves, and managed to break loose. There is no shame or guilt: Thelemites play life by our own rules, and we take a few bumps for doing so. It is the price we pay for freedom. But freedom must be the ultimate goal. Even freedom from addiction.
If you need something like this, and are serious about giving it up, give it a try. What have you got to loose?

Order of Thelemic Knights launches its first benefit. Our first act of charity was to create a "hair drive." The purpose was to raise human hair for Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children across the U.S. under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss. They do this by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by this drive have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses they provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers. We raised 14 feet of black, brown and red hair for the organization.
